Bye, for now...

One of the things I love about my work is that I get to live out my values every day.  The most important one is creating positive change in the world.

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you may have seen my post where I talk about how edible landscaping does just that.

You might be wondering what all of this has to do with the blog title, "Bye, for now..."

My sweet new daughter, Esmé, was born on March 13, 2019. The transition to being a mom of two has been fairly smooth, but I recently admitted to myself that I've become exhausted by my role as a business owner, mother of two, and garden fanatic.

I also admitted to myself that as much as I love my work and feel a strong commitment to you (my blog readers), I need to take a few months of maternity leave.  That way, I can return refreshed and ready to do my best work possible (which is creating great content for you!).

What does this mean?

The biggest change is that I won't be writing new blog posts for a little while.

Instead, I will be spending more time being fully present with my two girls this summer.  I will also be living out my values and creating positive change in the world as I tackle some projects in our blossoming edible landscape.

Want to stay connected this summer?

Follow me on Instagram and facebook, where I'll be posting pictures of my garden and edible landscape projects.

For all of my design students in My Own Edible Landscape, I'm still here for you!  I'm available for tech support, questions, design reviews, etc.  Send me an email anytime.  ; )

Happy gardening!
